A free MP3 live recording of Neil Young’s “Only Love Can Break Your Heart” as sung by yours truly last year live @ The Hotel Cafe. This song means a lot to me…maybe its because I found my favorite chord on the piano by playing it, or the way I get a new meaning from his simple words every time I play it….maybe it’s because I remember that night, as I do all of the nights of shows….I remember the people and the energy of the evening….I remember the looks and the sounds and smells….

If I could give away every word, song, and moment of creativity for free always I would….and yet I have other dreams, a big appetite and a hope for a family soon one day…..so, your support, in coming to shows, buying the albums, certain books and cards and shirts (coming soon)…it all matters and makes this possible, especially what is to come. Thank you. I never could have hoped to have come this far and yet I KNOW it will go so much further. And the coolest part of this Jake Walden world for me has been the communal feel, the support and friendships and common understanding of the world that we all need to find.
